The April ESDA meeting is Wednesday, April 8th, at 7PM. There will be a presentation from Curt Danner, ESDA Secretary, on the use of several different types of ESR meters for testing capacitors, with hands on access for attendees.

ESR Meters

Curtis will do a hands on testing of various ESR meters for comparisons before you buy, if you’re thinking about replacing or updating your equipment.

On hand will be a Atlas ERS60 capacitor analyzer, a Blue ESR meter, a Sencore Capacitor analyzer and a new smart components tester (that also test capacitors for ESR).

We will have handouts, assembly tips, etc.

Bring in you suspect caps or components, and if you have another brand of ESR meter, bring it with you!
